| Extrusion Blowing Technology |

1. Extrusion: Resin is heated to a molten state. It is then pushed (extruded) through the hot runner to create a parison which resembles a hallow tube.
2. Blowing: The parison is extends to a predetermined length. The blow molds close around the parison, pinching the bottom closed and forming the container neck finish at the top. High pressure dry air is blown into the parison to spread the material into the mold, forming the container.
3. Trimming & Eject: Once the newly formed container has cooled and formed, a trimmer cuts off the excess plastic on the top of the bottle and the bottle is ejected for down stream quality inspection and further processing. |
